Annette was born and grew up in Australia. “I like a challenge. Exploring the medium of watercolour is a journey. It begins when water, paper and pigment all come together. It is a fine balance, between control and letting go. As an artist, I am curious and want to experiment in my artwork. I love to travel, experience the culture and be amongst nature. Observation is important. Being aware of the fall of light on an object, or a landscape, a moment, a scene. It’s the colour, the form, a line, a feeling, something transient, a sense of something else. The challenge being a play between reality and memory, between skill and expression.
