I chose for our Queen Maxima because she is a beautiful and elegant lady. I gave her hat and earrings a orange color because it is the national color of the Netherlands. By giving only the hat brim and the earrings a modest color accent, I tried to emphasize her fashionable profile and elegance. She is my favorite royal.
Metsje de Jong (Metsje's Art) started taking painting lessons in 2012, and in the following years she expanded her hobby with drawing (pastel) pencils. She loves drawing portraits (people and animals) the most. But she finds everything a challenge to draw or paint.
