Round epoxy painting

Material: Alcohol ink and epoxy
Size: 60 x 60 cm

This round painting is made with alcohol ink, shellac and epoxy. This is a very unique and unknown technique whereby I use ink which I activate by adding 96% alcohol. Then I spread the alcohol and ink mixture with a hair dryer. The entire painting is build up with the hair dryer and no brush is used to create the shapes. The finished painting is covered with high quality epoxy to give the painting depth and intensify the ink. Depending on the light the colors and the gold are shimmering differently. It's a very playful effect and certainly an eye-catcher for every room. The way the ink flows on the painting represent "energy" for me.
I am a German artist living in the Netherlands who is passionately creating art for more than 20 years. Over the last years I have developed the very unique technique "alcohol ink and epoxy" which results in unique pieces of art. My paintings are colorful, dynamic and have a deeper meaning. I am a full time artist - very active on fairs, exhibitions, social media and much more and I create my paintings with the same drive and energy as which I look at life. Curious what else I make?
