"Joy and Pain"

Material: For the creation of this work I used both acrylic and glass paint. A first structure where I also processed the frame with three aerosol colors.
Size: 75 x 85 cm

Sadness and joy, love and hate, passion and cold-bloodedness. This nocturnal creation is a powerful reflection of the duality in our daily life. With Joy and Pain I encourage spectators to think and release all those emotions in them. Musing viewers sink into their own reality.
Biography: Del Bosque Born in 1960 in Berchem-Sainte-Agathe, Del Bosque grew up as the youngest member of a family with four children. Little Del Bosque looked up to his artistic father who painted some canvases himself. The work Maria is still in the possession of the family. As a small boy, he occasionally accompanied his parents on coffee visits to Paul Delvaux, Marc Eemans and Arno Brecker. He immersed himself in the oeuvre of well-known artists and started his collection with lithos by, among others, Salvador Dali, Miró and Picasso. On trips abroad, he always planned visits to exhibitions, museums and cultural events. The older he got, the greater the urge to make art himself. Behind his easel he tries out numerous styles and techniques. He finds inspiration in his richly filled life from the past and now. He challenges himself to paint outside the lines, literally and figuratively. He practices with different materials and experiments with new techniques. For example, he likes to add structure first for more depth and movement. Bright basic colors give his creations a dynamic and warm appearance. His collection, which has been built up over the years, is regularly featured in exhibitions and vernissages. Del Bosque's mission is to make art accessible to everyone. Every artistic soul deserves the opportunity to buy works of art. Thanks to the democratic prices, his paintings are regularly given a new lease of life in a different interior and Del Bosque can continue to give his inspiration to new works. Each one of his creations in which he puts his heart and soul. “Art is a passion, passion is an art. Art originates from the source of the artist's dreams and emotions, which he transforms into an original creation of his work. A work of art must make people think and must evoke emotions. People must experience art, must feel art, must be able to dream away in art… ” - Del Bosque
