Resides and works in Koksijde on the Belgian west coast. Studied painting, drawing and graphic art, sculpting, letter and painting techniques at the Academies of Fine Arts in Aalst and Ghent (Belgium). The works (paintings, drawings and installations) are intense, confrontational and emotionally charged (pain, fear, sadness, desire), and actively invite dialogue with the audience. The work can be considered contemporary and realistic, with a compeling emotional tension.The paintings are characterised by warm eart tones, with a powerful contrast between dark and light.
