Ivanka Lahaye developed a passion for art and creativity at a young age. At just 15 years old she discovered her skill in airbrushing and began experimenting with various techniques to express her artistic vision. Over the years, Ivanka's interest and talent continues to evolve, and at the age of 40, she delved into creating oil paintings. This classic and time-consuming technique provided her with a new medium to explore her artistic expression. Ivanka has always had a deep love for beauty an aesthetics, which is evident in her work. She prefers painting realistic portraits of both people and animals, capturing every detail with precision. Through her use of brush and paint, she masterfully brings emotions and character traits to life on canvas. In 2018 a painting 'heal the world' was donated to Serious Request. In 2019 she was nr 9 out of 350 candidates for a 'InBeeld' amateur art contest. In 2019 she also entered the contest for 'het geheim van de meester' but wasn't selected. Ivanka continues to nurture and inspire her passion for painting, with the promise of many more creations in the future.
