The base of the artwork is made of concrete and sand in relief. By letting the material flow through irrigation, I created natural, gorge-like deepenings and elevations, like those formed by a river in a landscape. After the landscape relief had dried, I worked over it in several layers of paint using a gradient technique. The artwork is presented in a shadow gap frame.
