Cloud Gate - Chicago by night

Material: oil on canvas
Size: 120 x 100 cm

I am fascinated by working with a medium that, despite its known properties, submits to artistic creation, releasing new ways of expression. Each subsequent image is a collection of many years of experience, at the same time opening a new chapter of original visualizations.
Born in 1983, she holds a PhD degree in art obtained in 2015 after defending her thesis on "Plane description of reality used in spatial design." In 2008 she obtained a Master of Arts degree in design, and easel painting in 2012. At the University of Arts in Poznan, she runs an original design studio, teaching bionics. Painting passion fills all the time spent outside of the university. In 2019, she received the Merit for Polish Culture honorary badge for her outstanding attitude in creating and disseminating culture. Over recent years her work has been repeatedly recognized by the curator Rebecca Wilson from the Saatchi New York Gallery and also by Singulart Gallery in Paris. In 2021 one of her paintings was transferred as a mural to over 100 m2 wall in the city center of Poznan, Poland. Since 2009, she is a member at Konstnärsföreningen Dymlingen, as the only representative from Poland. Currently, she’s cooperating with renowned galleries in Poland and around the world. She’s the only Polish painter among 37 most promising international artists that has been invited to participate in the Samsung "The Frame" project. She’s done over 25 solo exhibitions and participated in many collective exhibitions. Over 400 of her paintings are among original collections of most European cities as well as in the USA, Australia, Japan and Hong Kong. In Sweden her works have been admitted to collections of Landstinget Jönköping and Kultur Jönköping Kommun.
