We see an introverted person, separated from us by thin, translucent material. Except for the eye, piercing through a hole. As if she were looking at us from behind the canvas, anxious. Or is she looking at that door to the outside world that's behind us, reflected in her eye?
Dutch self-taught artist. Took up painting about 2-3 years ago, when I was looking for a more artisanal form of art next to photography. Fond of colorful abstracts, but recently I'm under the spell of realistic paintings as well. Love to create emotions or illusions with images. On socials @qeimoy.
