I struggled a number of years. This selfportrait is the beginning of a fresh start.
After high school, Caroline Herman (1958) started the teachers education Arts and
Crafts. Following the advice of sculptor George Belzer, she made the switch to the
Art Academy in Rotterdam, a little after two years. She was educated by Woody van
Amen, Kees Spermon, Hedy Gubbels, George Belzer and Dora Dolz, among others.
Because of her broad interest, Caroline has experience in many different fields.
During her career as a graphic designer, in addition to designing corporate identity,
logos, advertisements, she is also involved in her great passion: drawing and painting.
Caroline’s work is the result of a creative thinking process that is interwoven with her
deepest feelings, dreams and thoughts, and is converted into the final result.
Caroline works on commission as well as for her own pleasure.
