Laura Cid Sagarra

Environmental crimes

Material: Acrylic paint on canvas
Size: 97 cm x 130 cm cm

This is a climate change reflection. The equilibrium or stable of our planet balance could be destroyed due to the invasion of new species, the death of existing ones, natural disasters or man-made causes. This painting is a reminding spot of fossil fuel over the water.
Laura Cid Sagarra (Lleida, 1972). Physician and ergonomist whose creativity resurfaced after starting to illustrate educational stories for her sons. Laura, who was a self-taught artist, started in 2017 her degree in fine arts discovering different aesthetic languages. She has predilection for children’s portraits as well as abstract, material and textured works. Her projects are only a memory of experiences, feelings and concerns of every moment of her life, printing them on different materials.
